Random Kanji headcanon #2

For some strange reason, I can easily imagine Kanji wearing a yukata all day once he takes over the textile shop. Not just that, but he won’t have his hair bleached or spiked anymore. Wrap your head around that.

Now, have this cute picture of him and his mommy.

Random Kanji headcanon:

Kanji keeps his promise to Yu and he no longer hides the fact that he likes to sew cute things. The school’s sewing class gets word of this and their youngest member bravely asks if he could join. Kanji hesitates at first but he eventually agrees to it. It was an awkward start but after a few days, Kanji becomes their club’s leader. With this new responsibility entrusted to him, he learns how to interact with others, especially with the female members, and he slowly starts to open up. Kanji gains a small amount of respect around Inaba but he is still feared among others. Some even think he’s weird. However, he still gets clients who buy his merchandise and that is what boosts up his confidence even more.

Random Chie headcanon:

Chie is still her spunky self despite the sadness she felt after Yu’s departure. She’s the only person in the group who remains more or less the same. Since she now has a desire to become a police officer, she visits the station every so often and tries to learn as much as she can. Dojima notices this and he starts to help her out. With Chie learning more and more about her career choice, she gains a new sense of justice and becomes less hostile towards the things that anger her. She doesn’t always succeed but she does become less violent, especially towards Yosuke.

Random Rise headcanon:

As stated, Rise does return to showbiz a little after Yu’ sdeparture. Since her old manager is now working with Kanami, she is assigned a new manager who doesn’t take a liking to her. Starting over again wasn’t easy either. Rise now has a reputation of being a hash-up and she struggles to even get noticed. She’s subjected to do small gigs and minor roles in movies and commercials. Rise knew it wasn’t going to be easy, so she was expecting a struggle but what gets to her is the constant disputes with her manager. She wants to be herself and portray the Rise she wishes, but her manager is stern and doesn’t give in to the idol’s desires. There are times she cries to herself from the stress. She takes small breaks to visit everyone in Inaba and she even pays Yu a visit in Tokyo. She never tells them of her struggles because she doesn’t want to worry anyone. Yu, however, suspects her dilemma.

Random Naoto headcanon:

Naoto, being the most socially awkward of the bunch, has the hardest time figuring how to mingle with her friends without the advice of Yu. The two people she gets along with the most are Kanji and Rise, mostly because they’re in the same grade. But with Rise returning to showbiz, Kanji is the only person she can really turn to. When she’s confronted by her senpai, she treats them with the utmost respect but when they try to socialize with her on a deeper course, she tends to shy away or act a bit childish. When she does act out of her character, she feels ashamed and irredeemable but when everyone forgives her and accept that part of her, Naoto slowly realizes that it’s okay to let loose sometimes. She gains a new respect for her senpai and starts to view them more as her friends than her older classmates.

Random Yosuke headcanon:

When Yu leaves Inaba, a part of Yosuke changes. It was evident that everyone was effected by his departure but Yosuke took it differently. Since Yu is gone, he took it upon himself to be the responsible one and he tries his best to keep everybody together. This makes Yosuke mature a little and become closer to everyone. He still keeps his brave face on but deep down, Yosuke’s the one who feels the most torn from Yu’s departure.

“Texting to Yu”-my own little headcanon-

Remember I said I had a head canon regarding the characters? Well, the first part of it takes place in the first year after the protagonist leaves. I’m going to call him Yu Narukami but he’ll have Souji Seta’s personality. He’s back at home and has returned to his previous life except this time, he feels lonelier than he ever has. Good thing is, his friends all send him text messages regarding their status and the things that happen in Inaba.

This part of my headcanon where the characters become a little more closer to each other. Yu can’t partake in it, except when he visits in the holidays but the text messages he receives keep him in touch. Everyone will have different stories and interactions that the game only hinted at. Other characters such as Kou, Daisuke, Ai and Naoki will also play roles in this too.

The other part to this headcanon is from Yu’s perspective. The messages he receives from his friends will make him realize something that will result in a life changing decision.

I’m thinking of writing these events in small snippets but that’s for a later time…
