I haven’t been keeping up with this blog, but I hear it’s still around. So let’s make a tally, how many of you are sick of this?

Tagged as persona, persona 2, Persona 3, persona 4, catherine, Shin Megami Tensei, devil survivor, ATLUS, in general, fans, stupidity, futile, just like if you agree -_-, p1, p2, p3, p4, and every game under the title of, SMT,

Posting stuff and thoughts: So…there’s someone out there who is declaring that ATLUS is transphobic, homophobic, yadda yadda yadda…
little-cyes:
In all honesty, I don’t care. Nope. I’m not going to counter this. You know why? Because it’s pointless.
This person believes that, alright, let the guy have his/her opinion, and if anyone else agrees, more power to them. Simple as that.
I will say this though, the boycotting is a little too…
In Japan, Atlus is actually rather forward thinking with tackling the difficult issues that are brought up in their games. Different cultures are at different stages of progressive thinking, and we can’t judge them subjectively based on personal feelings. I prefer Atlus USA make accurate localizations instead of doing something like watering it down so the sensitive lgbt individuals feel nice and comfy.
I know it’s a minority that thinks this about Atlus (which is all the more reason a boycott is stupid, alongside everything else), but I’m tired of the lack of informed opinions.
Same here buddy. I’m just as tired of the ignorance…and hurts to know the Persona 4 started it all. *sighs*

I will say this though, the boycotting is a little too extreme. A lot of heart and talent goes into ATLUS games and their franchise is one the saving graces of RPGs since Square Enix can’t get their act together. I don’t believe a whole lot of people, employees and fans alike, should suffer due to a handful of haters.
If there’s something that Devil Survivor 2 has taught me, is that those who go to the extreme are usually the ones to crash and burn in the end. And it has happened in reality people, extremeness never leads to anything good. So…I won’t bother. Not at all.
I’ll just continue to ignore these few individuals since they’re not up for reasoning. I’ll just continue to play me some ATLUS games and love the hell out of them.
Problem?

The Persona series are in one universe. So you could say, that it was connected. But for the story… Not really.
Revelations : Persona (PS1) is 3 years apart; connected to Persona 2 Innocent Sin (PS1).
Persona 2 Innocent Sin is straight to Persona 2 Eternal Punishment (PS1).
Persona 2 Eternal Punishment is 10 years apart to Persona 3 (PS2).
Persona 3 is 2 years apart to Persona 4 (PS2)
And:
In Persona 4, it was stated by Atlus in an interview in the DoubleJump guide to be a sign that Philemon is still watching over the Protagonist.

Would you guys say that the formal is true or is it fanmade?
Do the nice girls always get the short end of the stick?
Just think about it:
Remember what happens to Maya? Remember Nanako? Remember The Answer with Aigis?
It’s doesn’t seem to be with only Persona games because poor Io from Devil Survivor 2 is also a victim of this.
Why ATLUS? Why make such lovable and sweet characters, and then use them to break our hearts?
Why ATLUS?
Why?
