Despite the popularity that HetaOni has, the original Ao Oni will always be better in my eyes. It’s a simple, yet pretty creepy game and each update just keeps adding more to it.

*sigh* I’m going to assume that all of these stamps were made by 13 years olds from a couple years ago and they just forgot they ever made these. Thus the comparison between deviantART and tumblr in this post is otherwise unfair.

Still, anybody with this mentality (especially the one regarding rape) really needs to think things over.

I’d be hesitant to give this a pardon whether they were 13 or 43 years old. Shit needs to be curbed ASAP if the former, because then, maybe they will grow up and learn not to do it by 18. Some do, surprisingly!

…Though I wouldn’t be so quick to attribute all of them to young teenagers, either. :T There’s plenty of adults in their twenties or more who have equally shitty behavior and ways of expressing their… beliefs. It’s not exclusive to kids, and it’s not exclusive to devART, sadly.

Well said Qu, well said. I’m just personally sick of DA getting all the bad rep when EVERY social website is just as bad. I’m even willing to bet that tumblr has far more hate crimes than DeviantArt…

Is this plain irony?

I think ATLUS was waaaaaay ahead of its fans in terms of the debates. Did anyone else play/see Devil Survivor 2? The whole concept of it is about extremists fighting for their goals and the consequences of it. Sounds a lot like what’s going on right now. 

I feel that the ATLUS fans who are trying to do the right thing but are as equally as hypocritical and ignorant are like Ronaldo,

And those who are opposing ATLUS and are using extreme methods to get there are just like Yamato,

And the rest of us stuck in between are like the hero who has to decide which side to take,

I just find it so ironic, don’t you think? :3

So…there’s someone out there who is declaring that ATLUS is transphobic, homophobic, yadda yadda yadda…

In all honesty, I don’t care. Nope. I’m not going to counter this. You know why? Because it’s pointless.

This person believes that, alright, let the guy have his/her opinion, and if anyone else agrees, more power to them. Simple as that.

I will say this though, the boycotting is a little too extreme. A lot of heart and talent goes into ATLUS games and their franchise is one the saving graces of RPGs since Square Enix can’t get their act together. I don’t believe a whole lot of people, employees and fans alike, should suffer due to a handful of haters.

If there’s something that Devil Survivor 2 has taught me, is that those who go to the extreme are usually the ones to crash and burn in the end. And it has happened in reality people, extremeness never leads to anything good. So…I won’t bother. Not at all.

I’ll just continue to ignore these few individuals since they’re not up for reasoning. I’ll just continue to play me some ATLUS games and love the hell out of them.

Alright, I’ll just say this:

Guys, I know several of you out there are Homsetuck fans, and that’s okay. I’m not going to hate you or anything for being a fan. If it brings you happiness, then continue to love it. But, after reading that thing…I’m not going to involve myself with that fandom. 

I’m just too disgusted and it’s sad to feel this way because of what a few people did. I just don’t want to relive those horrible days of Twilight all over again. So…I’m sorry.

I just read a sickening post relating to Homestuck.

And I swear it reminded me of the Twilight fandom. What was it about? 

Harassment. 

To think that a fandom about some online comic made in MSpaint would stoop as low as the Twitards. It’s times like these that I’m THANKFUL that I’m not a Homstuck fan, but it makes me sad too because some of my friends are Homestuck fans. 

It goes to show that it only takes a few stupid individuals to leave on person scarred for life and a terrible image on thousands of innocent people. I’m sure if the creator knew about this, he would be just as disgusted as I am.
